Mercado (Market) in Banos

I stopped in to see this market on Sunday afternoon. There were many locals enjoying the great food. I just had the $2.00 plate of the day at my favorite resturant.

This is my 2nd trip to Ecuador. The first was in 2007 when I met my daughter, who was spending her Jr. year in college in Santiago, Chile, for a 4 day vacation on the coast at Montinita. After the trip, I wanted to see more of Ecuador.

After taking the Oxford Seminar to get my TESOL certificate, I worked with their placement office to arrange a 4 month journey somewhere in the world. Quito, Ecuador is my assisnment and I am eager to share the experience with you through text and pictures. Hop on board.
