Joys of travel = Meeting other adventurous folks.

James, from England, and Isabel, from Polland met 8 months ago in India. They have been traveling together since they met. I loved seeing their photos of Bolivia and hearing about the book they had published of 100 favorite photos in India.

We had a delightful conversation over a fabulous dinner prepared by our hosts at the farm, Marco and Margarita in Tigua, Ecuador.

Follow the ups and downs. The twists, the turns, and the thrills of traveling to Ecuador for 3 months. South America has the lure of excitment that calls to me at this time.

This is my 2nd trip to Ecuador. The first was in 2007 when I met my daughter, who was spending her Jr. year in college in Santiago, Chile, for a 4 day vacation on the coast at Montinita. After the trip, I wanted to see more of Ecuador.

After taking the Oxford Seminar to get my TESOL certificate, I worked with their placement office to arrange a 4 month journey somewhere in the world. Quito, Ecuador is my assisnment and I am eager to share the experience with you through text and pictures. Hop on board.
